This is a mistake from Apple. Yes it works like that, yes it's kind of shitty that a VM can be recreated and instantly discarded. But it's does not really matter. Just don't do anything in your init and it's fine. Ice Cubes is a complexe applications and it's buttery smooth on iOS 17 with Observation. Much more than it was before with proper StateObject and autoclosure init.

So I would say it's fine. Up to Apple to fix this in an SDK update.

We work with the tool we have, and the new tools are better than the old one.
